GETTING STARTED

If you would like assistance with starting or enhancing your School Transportation Demand Management (TDM), please complete the short application below. The information you provide should describe the transportation-related challenge(s) your school is facing and explain how the School TDM Program sponsorship can help address those challenges.

Your school can apply for an annual sponsorship of up to $2,000 to help address transportation challenges. The funds can be used to fully cover the costs of relatively small projects/tasks or be used as partial funding for a larger project. We expect sponsorships to be awarded to schools who best demonstrate how this sponsorship can be used to promote carpooling, biking, walking, scootering, skating, etc.

3. Is there currently a car line procedure (include any applicable details)? Indicate approximately in minutes how long are you waiting in the car line, if applicable?

4. Provide an aerial map (Google, and zoomed-in preferred) identifying the car line(s) (pick-up and drop-off) location. Differentiate between arrival and dismissal car line(s) by using different maps (if applicable) (See Example).

10. Provide an aerial map (Google) showing where sidewalk and bicycle lanes within a mile radius do not exist. Use different colors to show sidewalks and bicycle lanes. Be sure to indicate which side of the roadway the sidwalk and bicycle lanes do not exist. (See Example)
